An old masters boxed set of six rare decorative plates by Bernardaud Limoges, France. Each features the still life fruit paintings of Jean Claude Chauray. Acquired in France, they come in the original Bernardaud box complete with certificate of authenticity. Since 1863 the Bernardaud family has exercised a passion of commissioning creations from artists and enjoyed a posture at the forefront of French porcelain. Jean-Claude Chauray, artist born in 1934 at Rochester-sur-Mer, France was a figurative French of still life and friend of Pierre Barnardaud. These plates were made of extractions from his original works. The six plates depict "Groseilles" (currants), "Fraises a la Coupe" (Strawberries in a cup), "Peches" (peaches), "Pommes" (apples), "Cerises" (cherries), "Fraises" (strawberries). Each plate is marked on the back as illustrated in photo with individual fruit patterns named. We love them wall mounted!

A beautiful natural white hand crafted signed "953/21 Bassano" pedestal urn from the Veneto region in Italy. Fire glazed using old Italian artisan techniques, we love it with fruit, but the insertion of a glass vase for flowers converts it to a lovely centerpiece pedestal. There is one modest chip to the base edge on the back side per the photo. Fruit not included!
