Priced as a set of collar & clip earrings.
This striking set was made in the 1920's in conjunction the Egyptian revival largely inspired by the discovery of King Tut's tomb in 1922.
The coral and turquoise faience bib style necklace beautifully adorns the neckline and drapes elegantly across the collarbones. Two layers of fringe composed of interconnected brass rings and spacers hold natural coral tube beads as well as turquoise cylindrical faience beads. The first layer consists of natural coral tube beads which dangle from brass rings and spacers. The second layer of beads are Egyptian faience turquoise in a bluish green color. At the end of each turquoise faience hangs a tiny metal bell bead. Decorative punched clover shaped medallions accent the brass spacers. The dangle earrings feature clip backs.
