In raw silver toned galvanized steel, this durable piece will do the heavy lifting of tidy up with it's X shaped base spanning 22" across (so it won't tip over), floor nubs (a scratch prevention feature) & 4 double hooks. The central round pipe is 2" in diameter.

A versatile steel ivory & aged gold steel bench to place at end of bed, in powder room, entry or as additional floating seating. Heavy & durable, the steel bench is topped with a cushion pillow of needlepoint/petit point medallion floral trimmed in cotton tassel trim, backed in cotton velvet with a zipper placket & containing a goose down insert. This gem came from a beautifully appointed estate home on the east coast.

A solid walnut hand carved French washed with a warm wheat and antique white distressed finish adds a touch of antique charm to any room. A perfect accent piece upon which to place a plant, urn, statue, or champagne bucket. Solid & weighty, felted floor protectors, this is a transitional elevated piece for any room. The heavy base makes this a stable piece difficult to topple over & measures 14" in diameter. The gray painted top measures 12" diameter.

Purchased at the New York Armory Antiques Show 20 years ago, this early classical gem features a glass topped mirror based curio with gilt gold trim. We have never attempted to remove the glass; however, it is not glued & could be gently removed to place smalls inside should you wish. This has served as a charming coffee table in our sitting room.

bases - mint condition. Important Schmeig and Kotzian mahogany stacking tables. This set of four "Schmeig and Kotzian" mahogany stacking tables are in original condition with their original finish and label. Schmeig and Kotzian made the finest reproduction furniture a the turn of the last century. They were located in New York at 521 East 72 nd Street. Designers and Cabinet Makers. They reproduced by hand the the rarest examples of period American and English furniture from the 18th and early 19th century using the best woods available at the time. Closed this set measures 25 and one half inches high by 19 and one half inches wide by 13 and one half inches deep. The smallest of the pull out tables measures 13 inches wide by 11 and one half inches deep and 22 and one quarter inches high, the next measures 15 and one half inches wide by 12 inches deep by 23 and one quarter inches high, the last measures 17 and one half inches wide by 13 inches deep and 24 and one half inches high. Each table has a beautiful center oval crotch mahogany oval design.

This piece was custom made by master craftsmen of walnut with mahogany stain, varnish & aged brass casters to replicate a library / court room table for a NY apartment. Originally used as a dining table with bench & chairs, it has diversified in function & lovingly served as a glass topped elegant desk moving seamlessly to it's current Hoboken home. The fluted carved legs are detachable (per the under side photo) for ease of transport. The custom cut .25" thick glass top is included. This is a versatile, luxe quality "forever" piece of furniture. My shop also features the cotton duck upholstered bench that coordinates & fits under this table & is sold separately custom made by the same craftsmen.
